THE NEW BREAD RADIO CORP (TNBRC)

Music & Content Submission Licence

Version 1.1 · Effective September 13, 2026 · Alberta, Canada

  1. Parties and purpose

This licence is between the person or entity submitting music or other content (“you”) and The New Bread Radio Corp (“TNBRC”, “we”, “us”), operator of The New Bread Radio and related apps, streams, and platforms (the “App”).

By submitting Content through the App, the Contact page, email, or any other official TNBRC intake channel, and by checking the acceptance box in the App (or signing a paper copy), you agree to these terms.

Official intake / questions / removal requests: https://thenewbreadradio.com/contact · thenewbreadradio@thenewbreadradio.com

  1. What you are granting

You keep all copyright and ownership in your submitted content (the “Content”). You do not assign the song, recording, lyrics, artwork, or video to TNBRC.

You grant TNBRC a non-exclusive, royalty-free, fully paid-up, worldwide licence to:

a) reproduce, store, encode, and technically process the Content so it can run in the App; b) publicly perform, stream, broadcast, and communicate the Content through the App and TNBRC-controlled channels (including live streams, on-demand playback, podcasts, and archives); c) use short excerpts of the Content in TNBRC promos, social clips, station imaging, and show packaging that promote The New Bread Radio or the App; d) display your artist/submitter name, track title, and any artwork you provide, solely in connection with those uses; and e) make reasonable technical or editorial edits required for radio/app use (timing, loudness, radio-safe language, intro/outro, metadata).

TNBRC will not sell the Content as a standalone download, transfer ownership of the Content, or sublicense it to an unrelated third party as a commercial music product, unless you later agree in writing.

  1. No payment

The licence is royalty-free. Submission does not create any right to payment, advertising share, revenue share, sync fee, or other compensation from TNBRC. Airplay, placement, or featuring is at TNBRC’s sole discretion. TNBRC has no obligation to use the Content.

  1. Term

The licence starts when you submit the Content and continues for as long as TNBRC operates the App or related programming, unless TNBRC earlier removes the Content. You may request removal by written notice to TNBRC at thenewbreadradio@thenewbreadradio.com or via the Contact page. TNBRC will use reasonable efforts to stop new plays after a removal request, but already-published episodes, archives, caches, and promotional clips already distributed may remain.

  1. Moral rights (Canada)

To the extent permitted by the Copyright Act (Canada), you waive your moral rights in the Content solely so TNBRC can exercise the rights in section 2 (including editing for length, language, and technical quality, and crediting you in TNBRC’s usual style). This waiver does not transfer copyright.

  1. Your warranties

You represent and warrant that:

a) you are at least 18, or you have legal capacity and (if required) parental/guardian authority; b) you own or control all rights needed to grant this licence, including the sound recording (master) and the underlying musical work (composition and lyrics), or you have written permission from every rights holder; c) the Content is original to you except for elements you have fully cleared; d) the Content does not contain uncleared samples, uncleared cover versions, or material copied from another person; e) the Content does not infringe copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights, and is not defamatory or unlawful; f) no further licence, consent, or payment to any third party is required for TNBRC to use the Content as described in this licence; g) if the Content is wholly or partly AI-generated, you have disclosed that in your submission and you still have the right to grant this licence; and h) all information you provide with the submission is accurate.

  1. Covers, samples, and third-party material

Do not submit cover songs, remixes, or tracks containing samples unless you attach written proof of clearance for both the composition and the master as needed. TNBRC may reject any submission that looks uncleared.

  1. Performing rights societies

This licence is a direct grant from you to TNBRC. It does not make TNBRC responsible for any registration, collection, or payment you may have with SOCAN or any other collective. If you have assigned performing rights to a society, you must still have authority to grant the uses in section 2, or you must not submit the Content. You will tell TNBRC in your submission if a collective society administers the work.

  1. Indemnity

You will indemnify and hold harmless The New Bread Radio Corp and its directors, officers, employees, contractors, and hosts from claims, losses, damages, and reasonable legal costs arising out of your Content or a breach of this licence, including copyright claims and uncleared samples or covers.

  1. No partnership

Submission does not make you an employee, partner, joint venturer, or co-owner of TNBRC. TNBRC may refuse, delay, edit, or remove Content at any time.

  1. Privacy

TNBRC will use contact details you provide only to administer the submission, credit you, and communicate about the App or the Content, in line with TNBRC’s privacy practices and applicable Alberta and Canadian privacy law. Contact: thenewbreadradio@thenewbreadradio.com.

  1. Governing law

This licence is governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable there. Courts in Alberta have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer rules that cannot be waived.

  1. How to submit

Until in-app file upload is available, submit Content through:

The App Submit screen (read this licence and check “I agree”), then

Contact or email thenewbreadradio@thenewbreadradio.com with your audio/video files and the details below.

Please include: legal name, artist/project name, track title(s), email, SOCAN/PRO (if any), whether the work is AI-generated, and whether it contains samples or is a cover (with clearances if yes).

  1. Acceptance

TNBRC may keep a log of the accepted version, date, time, and device. A paper signature block may be used for offline intake; it is optional when you accept electronically in the App.
